Michael is a seasoned marketing and advertising innovator in both domestic and international markets. Michael has been the driving force behind the award-winning success at Advantage Communications, Inc. He offers a unique perspective on strategic and highly-targeted communications approaches, steaming from his extensive experience in brand marketing with the Coca-Cola Company.
In addition to establishing an outstanding track record for new product innovations including Stroh’s Light and Diet Coke, Michael earned a B.S. degree from Western Michigan University and an M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University.
Vice President of Operations
E’van is a versatile and accomplished businessperson with particular expertise in professional development and corporate training. She oversees the areas of Human Resources, Training and Operations. E’van has held key management positions for several years. Each position has provided valuable experience to effectively manage resources and responsibilities in her current role as Executive Vice President.
Key training for Advantage Communications, Inc. associates and clients involve nonverbal communications, customer service, public speaking and presentation, business casual and wardrobe development as well as business etiquette among others. E’van has a communications degree from the University of Toledo and certification from the Professional Image Training Institute in Atlanta, GA., Corporate Training, Human Resources, Human Resource Laws, Time Management and Professional Development.
Director of Account Services
Michael McCray is an Attorney and former CPA who began his career in public service by working on a White House Initiative for the Clinton Administration, i.e., the Federal Empowerment Zones and Enterprise Communities (EZ/EC) Initiative. As a result, McCray developed a passion for public service and non-profit development including Economic Development and Community Development Finance.
Michael McCray possesses a B.S. in Business Economics from Florida A&M University, and two Masters Degrees; a M.B.A. in Finance from Howard University and a M.A. in Producing Television, Film and Video from American University. McCray also earned his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center.
Michael McCray began working with Advantage Communications Inc. first as a client—then as a focus group moderator, New Business Director and now V.P. of Account Services. McCray has Fortune 500 sales and marketing experience with Honeywell Information Systems, Johnson & Johnson, Personal Products Co., and Sun Trust, NA. McCray is a sought after public speaker and the Author of “Race, Power & Politics”—a primer on grassroots community organizing.
Chief Creative Officer
Michael is a native of Little Rock Arkansas, and has lived and worked in both Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, California. He attended Arkansas Tech University and majored in Graphic Art & Design. He has worked in the Broadcast & Advertising industries for the past 30 years, with a wide range of creative responsibilities, including: Creative Director, Art Director, and Broadcast Production Manager.
He prides himself as a creative problem solver, with a long list of local, district and national awards for outstanding work performed for a long list of top firms. His impressive client list has included: Louisiana Downs, Bonanza Steak Houses, Weedeater, Wilson Meats, KFC, City of Hot Springs, The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, The Chevy Dealer Associations throughout Southeast U.S., TCBY, Hangers Cleaners, University of Central Arkansas, Winnebago, Mexico Chiquito Restaurants, Southland Greyhound Park, Magic Chef Ovens, Jacuzzi Whirlpool Baths, and Jason Spas.
Chief Financial Officer
Shaunda joined Advantage Communications, Inc. with 17 years of financial and accounting experience. Her role at the agency involves strategic forecasting, budget planning, and overseeing the day to day accounting functions for client billing and vendor relations. Shaunda is a native Arkansan. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Shaunda began her career working in governmental and nonprofit accounting organizations. She is a former City of Little Rock employee. She also served as Finance Director at Youth Home Inc.
